Pronounced as Ma 'cha' Me (as in your would say 'may'), the Machame Route is possibly the best route to take from the point of view of acclimatization as well as with regard to chances to summit the mountain.

This route starts with a one day stay at a small sleepy town that goes by the name of Moshi, lasts about 6 days post the over night stay and ends back in Moshi.
